Dear Sir, Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID), particularly ibuprofen, are commonly prescribed for children to treat inflammation, pain, and fever, as these drugs decrease prostaglandin synthesis through blockade of the cyclo-oxygenase enzyme.
